I offer lessons in all three phases of eventing and prefer to work privately with students or in small groups. My specialty is with
beginning and intermediate students. Together we concentrate on safety, correct balance and seat, confidence in the riding
experience, and continued progress towards the students personal goals. My background in education allows me to be flexible
with different learning styles and personalities. I enjoy the relationships I build with each and every student and look forward to
working with every horse and rider combination. School horses are available on a limited basis. Trailer-ins are welcome.
Inside Track Training offers horse training from initial breaking to fine tuning the seasoned show veteran.
My personal experience working with horses includes almost thirty years of riding, over twenty years showing, and over ten
years breaking young horses. I do not subscribe to any one single training method, but instead have built my own philosophies
based upon the experiences of many horsemen and horsewomen that have come before me. I continue to further my
education by regularly riding with other local trainers, participating in clinics as a rider, and researching training information
specific to the individual horses I work with. I aim to create supple, happy horses that respond willingly to the riders aids and
are confident in their work. Each horse is treated with the respect of an individual and their training progresses accordingly.

I love taking the horses out for trail rides here in gorgeous Colorado. This is one of my favorite places - Greenland/Spruce Mountain trails located near Castle Rock, CO.

These photos are from the George Morris clinic in April, 2009. I rode three days with Mr. Morris and had an incredible time. I think I was the only event rider in all of the sessions and although he could have been much stricter with me, I felt he was fair and tactful. I really learned a lot in these three days and would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you to all who helped finance this opportunity for me. I am so grateful for everyone's support!

As we enter 2010 I am looking
forward to getting my new horse,
Scarlett, into the show ring. This
year will be all about introducing
her to new venues, focusing her
attention on the job at hand, and
helping her to enjoy her new life
and have the confidence to
achieve great things.
I am also looking forward to the
new prospects that my clients
have been trusting to me. It will
be exciting to see which horses
will be ready to hit the show ring
this year.
Also, as the new CCC
President I am excited for the
prospects of the new year. I hope
to help increase volunteer
involvement in our sport as well
as generate more members.
