My personal experience working with horses includes almost thirty years of riding, over twenty years showing, and over ten
years breaking young horses. I do not subscribe to any one single training method, but instead have built my own philosophies
based upon the experiences of many horsemen and horsewomen that have come before me. I continue to further my
education by regularly riding with other local trainers, participating in clinics as a rider, and researching training information
specific to the individual horses I work with. I aim to create supple, happy horses that respond willingly to the riders aids and
are confident in their work. Each horse is treated with the respect of an individual and their training progresses accordingly.

| 2008 YEAR-END ACCOMPLISHMENTS! Sage: My 8 year old OTTB was Reserve Champion at Training Level at the USEA Area IX Championship Event! We were Champions at Senior Training and 3rd in Training Horse for MSEA-CCC. Sage and I both placed 4th in the USEA Area IX final standings for the above divisions. Riding Sage, I am currently 9th in the USEA overall point standings for Training Adult Rider. Ciara: The 4 year old Freisian Cross mare owned by Daniel Leach placed 4th at Training Level and 7th at 1st level at the RMDS Regional Dressage Championships! | This is SCARLETT - my latest acquisition and possibly my next eventing prospect. She is a gorgeous Trakehner mare, turning 6 this May. She stands 16.2 1/2 hands and is a sweet as they come. She is a big, hunter-y mover with power to burn. She will have had about 30 days under her come June and I am looking forward to continuing her training and seeing what I've got. So far, so good!!! |
